When such large numbers of books end up on the shelves of the various Regional Libraries then it is time to send some of the overage out to the community libraries, there is not a hope in heck that there is going to be a rush on any of those books that have 8-13 copies on hand. The only thing these books due is to collect dust.
Let's get them out to the smaller libraries where they have a chance of being read.
The way it is done now wastes our tax dollars and if the brass downtown can't figure this out then it is time for some of them to retire and let someone with common sense take their positions. In this economy we should be cutting the top administrators pay and using the money to run the libraries.
